A patient person would have waited until all the foam floated to the top before pouring the juice into the glass! Next time I'd like to try it with Granny Smith apples, a green variety of kale, lemon, and a bit of ginger for a vibrant green, gingery drink.
What a great looking drink, I think I need a juicer!
ReplyDeleteI love the green foam at the top! It would make great juice for Christmas brunch. It looks so tasty. Yes, VIB, get a juicer!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful! Such colors!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! I wanna try it! I loves my juicer, too. :) Especially kale juice -- even though I don't like kale in its leaf form lol.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I passed on the Liebster Blog award to you. You can get directions on how to pick it up and award it to others on my post for today.
ReplyDeleteyou know, i always strain off my veggie-fruit foam, but i'm thinking i could get used to it. ;) i've never actually tasted it before, just used the strainer that comes with the juicer because that's how i learned from someone else. hrm.....
ReplyDeleteand totally unrelated - is that a shun knife i see? they're my absolute favorite and i must admit, my life's been so much easier since i spent the money and got myself a shun chef's knife. love it!
Why thank you, Dawn!
ReplyDeletejessy, yes it is. It was a wedding present and we love it so much! When it's freshly sharpened I'm surprised we haven't lost a finger or two.
That is the prettiest juice ever made!
ReplyDeletei thought so! yay! man, i love my shun the mostest! ever since i bought one it reduced my prep time by half. i love that knife so much i even travel with it when we head to the beach for a week each year so i can make us awesomeness at the beach house we rent. hooray for such a great knife!
